It didn't take former Chicago Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds long to find a new home as he's signing with the New York Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's a three-year deal worth $36 million for Edmunds.
The Bears released Edmunds last week in a salary cap saving effort, freeing up $15 million in cap space.
Edmunds, who signed a four year, $72 million contract back in 2023, has been a three-year starter alongside T.J. Edwards. Last season, Edmunds totaled 112 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, one sack, three QB hits, one fumble recovery, four interceptions and nine pass breakups.
More to come.
