According to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Shazz Preston is set to reenter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens.

Preston, who originally began his collegiate career at Alabama, has spent the last two seasons at Tulane.

With the Green Wave, Preston emerged as one of the top wide receivers in the AAC this season, enjoying a breakout 2025 campaign. Across 14 games, Preston hauled in 43 receptions for 723 yards and four touchdowns, which came after a 2024 season in which the former Alabama wideout had four catches for 99 yards and two scores for Tulane.

Prior to Tulane, Preston came to Alabama as a member of the Crimson Tide's 2022 recruiting class considered as a Top 100 overall prospect nationally, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. At Alabama, Preston appeared in a total of 10 games combined between the 2022-23 seasons, but did not record any stats.
