Former Alabama infielder Sean Griggs has reentered the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on social media.
Griggs, who transferred last offseason from Alabama to Stetson, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
During the 2026 season, Griggs appeared in 24 total games for Stetson, nine of which he started. Griggs posted a slash line of .205/.340/.205 over those 24 games, which translates to a .545 OPS, while also going 8-for-39 at the plate with one run scored.
Prior to Stetson, Griggs was a member of Alabama's 2024 recruiting class out of Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. As a freshman, Griggs appeared in only one game for the Crimson Tide during the 2025 season, going 0-for-2 in a game against Bradley.
