Chris, I hope the refs are as professional and fair about their jobs as you are about yours.

OK, I can't believe I'm actually going to say this, and I'll probably get laughed off the board, but here goes:

If we're going to make some concessions for trolls and fans of other teams to come here and talk smack against the Suns, then I wouldn't mind also seeing Andrew back for the playoffs. Sure he's a bit immature and whined a lot about not being able to see the games, but the kid sure is passionate about basketball, Shaq, and the Suns. If you weed out his TV issues, he raises a lot of good questions and discussion points.

I think Andrew's love of the game and the Suns should be as welcomed during the playoffs as much as Spurs' fans coming here and talking crap about us. Besides, he won't have to complain that he can't get the games, since all of our playoff games are gonna be on ABC, ESPN, or TNT. I'm pretty sure the dude has basic cable.

Take up a pool and buy him league pass! :)

Is there any way to restrict new members from creating threads? I remember a guy last year in the playoffs that made 30-40 threads of crap.

How do you want this moderated during the playoffs?

Do you want smack threads in the forum where Spurs fans can do some light smack talking (as long as they don't cross the line) or do you want all smack talk moved to the smack shack?

I don't mind smack talking from regular board members who are Spurs, Lakers or Mavs etc. fans. It always happens in the heat of arguments. But I'd avoid having trollers just coming over for trolling for this particular series or game.

Maybe we should limit the accessible functions of new members somehow to dissuade those from coming in swarms. Say, 2-3 day of waiting time before newcomers are allowed to post after registration, and more restrictions on how they are allowed to open new threads.

Wait. Why did Andrew get banned?

Is he? He is a little annoying with so many threads everyday and would be rather tolerable if everybody was restricted to opening one thread per day maximum.

Alright I will give him one more chance.

Yeah Im down with bringing andrew back. It would be cruel to keep him out of playoff discussion. He has to promise not to ask for any technical assistance of any sort though.
