Following Hunt's dismissal, Durban City FC sack Daine Klate!
In a rapid turn of events, Durban City announced on Monday the termination of veteran manager Gavin Hunt's contract following a "comprehensive review of the team's objectives and trajectory." Just days later, the club also dismissed Discussion Challenger manager Dean Clatt.
Hunt, who joined the club at the start of the season, is believed to have recommended Clatt, who had previously managed him at both SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits during their time together.
This double dismissal this week signals the complete unraveling of a partnership that was supposed to form the cornerstone of the newly promoted Premier League club's future.
