The Florida State Seminoles have gotten hot at the right time when it comes to recruiting in the 2027 cycle. They have secured four commitments in the last week, and they have been predicted to land another key target.

Three-star edge Jaxon Holly came to Tallahassee this weekend for an official visit. He mentioned recently that FSU could land his commitment with a strong showing, and according to Chad Simmons of Rivals, that will be the case. He's logged a prediction for the Seminoles to land Holly.

Three-star EDGE Jaxon Holly also generated significant buzz this weekend. The Alpharetta (Ga.) defender has taken multiple visits this spring and considered programs including Auburn, Georgia and Virginia Tech, but Florida State’s consistency continues to stand out.
Sources point to Holley’s one-on-one time with Mike Norvell and the coaching staff as a major factor, and the way the Seminoles made him feel throughout the weekend has positioned them well moving forward.

Holly has only visited Florida State twice since his offer back in December. The fact that they've made so much noise in his recruitment so quickly is a statement to the coaching staff, and specifically, edge coach Nick Williams. A commitment from Holly would give FSU two edges in the 2027 class, as four-star Anthony Cavallaro pledged back in January, and it would be their third commitment on the defensive line with three-star Eric Vaulx Jr. committing on May 31.

Four-star wide receiver Sean Green and four-star linebacker Jernard Albright committed to Florida State this week from the Peach State. Will Holly be next?

Rivals' industry rankings have Holly listed as the nation's No. 610 recruit and the No. 63 edge. In the state of Georgia, he's the No. 73 prospect.

FSU is also projected to land four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune.
