Florida State is a major player in the recruitment of 2027 four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune. In fact, they got a prediction to get his commitment on Saturday night.
That momentum has gotten even stronger on Sunday. They have once again been projected to land LeJeune, and this time it's from Brendan Sonnone and Kolby Crawford of Noles247.
The Seminoles have been recruiting LeJeune for two years, and he's been on campus around 10 times over that span. On this trip, he had his grandparents with him, and the program reaffirmed why he loves them so much.
"It feels great. They were my first offer and they stuck through me my whole time, through ups and downs, which is great," LeJeune told Noles247.
The Auburn Tigers and California Bears hosted LeJeune over the previous two weekends. However, he says it's down to FSU and California going forward.
"Really just Cal and Florida State," LeJeune said. "I wouldn't say Washington. They want me, but I only went there once."
According to LeJeune, he plans to commit sometime in the next week or two. All signs point to Florida State closing his recruitment, but they have to keep pushing.
