The time for sulking is over for Florida gymnastics.

Sure, the Gators suffered a stunning loss to Missouri last week and dipped from No. 2 to 5 in the Road to Nationals rankings, but the challenges don't let up.

Instead, they amp up with a visit from the powerhouse Oklahoma Sooners.

OU, the No. 1 team in the nation and the defending national champion, has taken no step back. The Sooners briefly lost their No. 1 ranking in the first two weeks to Florida, but a remarkable 198.425 (a national high) vs. Georgia on January 23 helped OU reclaim its perch.

OU has topped a 198 two more times this year. However, its road scores are a full point lower than its home ones, leading to an opening for the Gators.

UF leads the all-time series 19-17-1, but since 2016, the rivalry has flipped to the women from Norman. Florida holds a 10-11 mark at the O'Connell Center but has won its last three, including 2014, 2018 and 2022. This is the second regular-season meeting between the two as SEC teams and first in Gainesville. OU won 198.075-196.625 in Norman last February.
