There's always the talk of some big rings after securing a national title.
Earlier this month, those aspirations came to life for one Florida powerhouse.
St. Thomas Aquinas, which has dominated Florida high school football this century, unveiled their 2025 national championship rings, which were made by Southern Recognition.
The Raiders were named the High School Football America National Champions after a 14-1 season, capped off by a 29-0 win over Lakeland in the Class 5A title game. The lone loss came against Mater Dei (Calif.), in the regular season opener by a score of 26-23.
The ring carries many features, including 27 diamonds inside the Aquinas A on the ring face, along with a map of the lower 48 states just behind it in navy blue. Around the ring itself are the 17 different seasons the program has secured a state title, starting with 1992 and ending in 2025, which resulted in a 29-0 shutout win over rival Lakeland at Pitbull Stadium on Dec. 12.
The Raiders have dominated this decade, going 76-7 under head coach Roger Harriott over the past six seasons, and will aim to improve on that mark in 2026, potentially competing in the FHSAA's new Open Division.
