Lomax to Green 84
Hall of Famer
and instead of being paid as the best reciever in all of football, he should have been paid as the 20th best reciever at best. Sure the guy ended up with great numbers (100 catches 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns) but lets not forget that 9 of those touchdowns happened in the last 8 games and only one occurred during those critical first 8 games of the season when his production was so desperately needed.
Game #1-vs. San Francisco-Inexplicably dives for a first down when he had room to get a huge chunk of yards and possibly put the game away.
Game #2-No real impact in win over Seattle.
Game #3-No impact in close loss to Baltimore. Key fumble likely costs Cards a touchdown
Game #4-No impact in win over Pittsburgh. It was an awesome defensive performance that won that game. Another key fumble that cost the team a chance at a touchdown
Game #5-As usual he plays good against St. Louis . His one great game in the first 8.
Game #6-Non existent against Carolina in a game the Cards still should have won even with Rattay at QB.
Game #7-Inexplicably steps out of bounds on a play that would have gone for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Game #8-Boldin comes back, playing with one good hip and scores 2 touchdowns to Fitzgerald's zero.
Resign him if he is willing to take a contract that will help the team. Otherwise, its time to move one. The Cards are a whopping 24-40 during Fitzgerald's tenure in Arizona. Its not like we are losing a guy who has helped take us to the promised land.
