Six-time Paralympic champion Bethany Firth has won Northern Ireland's first medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games as she claimed bronze in the women's 200m freestyle S14 at the Tollcross Swimming Centre.
Firth, who triumphed in Birmingham four years ago, finished third in a time of 2.07.63.
After easing through her heat, the 30-year-old was edged out in the final by English duo Georgia Sheffield, who won gold, and Poppy Maskill.
