From the moment he was dealt to the Boston Celtics from the Portland Trail Blazers, the word was that Anfernee Simons was only with the team for a cup of coffee, Boston doing everything they can to move the Florida native to a new ball club while the Celtics worked to reshape their roster in the 2025 NBA offseason.

But the offseason soon became the Celtics' preseason, and then the 2025-26 regular season. Fans of the team fell for his red-hot scoring and visible growth on the defensive end of the court. So man were left surprised by the news Boston traded Simons for Chicago Bulls big man Nikola Vucevic ahead of the 2026 NBA trade deadline. Was this the right move for getting off Simons' admittedly large contract? What should we expect from Vooch as a Celtics? And do we think Boston is done making moves?

The hosts of "Havlicek Stole the Pod" took a moment to react to the deal, as well as to look at the bigger picture and what else might be coming down the pike. Check it out below!
