I do not think ES will. IMO, he wants to see what progress we have made. Which is zilitch in the signing dept. A couple offers and that's it. So, unless we sign a QB, DE, S, WR along with Colvin then ES will not sign with us. Too risky for him. ES is alot of things. Some good and some bad depending on how you regard him. However, one thing he is not, that is a "Florence Nightinggale". He is not in it for how he can help out other struggling teams. He wants to compete and right now we are far from it. Some signings can change that...we will see..

My bet is we get a couple 2nd tier guys (or our own) and we play the young guys this year. Not to rosey but it is what I believe.

Redstorm, we'll sign more than that. We HAVE to. Bidwill has to get a minimum of 24 mil of the remaining cap space spent in order to avoid a penalty. Two second tier guys won't do it.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, to date, Graves has given me nothing to be hopeful for. On a scale of 1-100 my faith is at about 10. Good thing is that it can only go up from here. Bad thing is I have been saying that as long as I can remember. I wonder if I will ever see another Cardinal playoff game in my lifetime.

I cannot think of anyone and I mean anyone that is an immediate downgrade from McCown that is a current FA quarterback. McCown has barely played a quarter in the NFL and then is was lousy.

Is someones computer keyboard stuck on "Immediate Downgrade"? With our record I am not sure there are many guys available that are an immediate downgrade. Most would be an immediate upgrade.
