Easy several drives kept alive by scrambling and finding the open man.

Put us in position to kick an easy FG for Ryland while special teams blows it.

No turnovers , no turnovers, no turnovers

Got us out from deep in our own side of the field as well.
okay.
I tend to agree with this.
except the "Find the open man" part...dude is a quarterback...thats literally his job and every QB in the league does it.
But Kyler had some nice runs that kept a couple drives going...and once he even dove head first and rolled forward which demonstrated he was committed to winning today.

considering I actually saw those runs happen....Kyler gets a lot of credit for them...very few QB's can make those runs.
however, a good QB would not have needed to because he would have been in rhythm and throwing the ball
potato tomato.
we win. Thats all that matters. Kyler is our QB this year one way or the other.

Reserving judgment until I see Britcard's breakdown and showing how 9 receivers were open on the play and Kyler with 2 275lb lineman bearing down on him while running at full speed didn't look all the way across the field to a player waving his hands.

Bring Mike McDaniel in here and we will have an explosive offense and not this crap that P Guy is putting out.
you know he's the head coach for another team right? and that his "explosive offense" scored a whole 8 points in their week 1 loss to the powerhouse known as indianapolis? cuz im pretty sure petzing put 20 on the board

what's it like in your world man

Petzing did a terrible job missing the wide open receiver on that deep route that would've been a TD. Petzing also should have run onto the field to force Kyler to throw it away rather than take losses twice on one drive. And he definitely should have run on the field to stop the idiotic, trademark spin the wrong way into a sack at the worst time in the game. Damn that Petzing!

All that said, and all sarcasm aside, why Petzing wasn't trying to run the rock more up 10 is beyond me.

Kurt Warner says the throw was in the right place to MHJ, but why would we listen to him when we have forum experts

Hes not a good HC just like K2 wasn't and he is about to be fired. He is an exceptional OC.

i dont know who the receiver was at the bottom, but i have to believe he was the "hot" and should have run a speed out or something when he saw the corner blitz

at the same time, its not like Kyler was looking for that either.... so who knows.

He couldn't manage anything else while being the play caller. He was out of his depth as a HC.
kk put up 21 points in week 1

last I checked 21 was more than 8

sounds like maybe mcdaniels can't handle both roles either? cuz im guessing every oc in the entire nfl scored more points than your exceptional genius

I missed most of the game. Was Kyler ever under center? I know he played more last year under center, but don't not recall if he was under center in Sunday

Guys we just need to run the ball more efficiently.

He’s not wrong. We had a 33% rushing success rate and a 41% passing success rate last week. Of you’re not going to be explosive, you have to be productive.

Everyone is slobbing Trey Benson’s knob for getting loose finally but he gained 17 yards on his other seven rushing attempts.

James Conner was even worse with a 25% successful rate. Makes me feel the Saints were loading up against the run and more tight ends didn’t solve the problem.

conner had more carries - benson had more yards - it's okay k9 - benson being good is good - and 69 yards on 8 carries is indeed good - there's no knob slobbing people like long runs and deep passes - it's just more enjoyable when it's another player proving you wrong lol - i hear that one son of a burch did pretty good too

he's talking about conner and he's right - he's also talking about the o-line and he's right - as a kyler guy you should be praying for a complimentary running game
Because without a running game we win 5 or 6 games. K1 is not taking us to the playoffs without a running games, he just can't do it
