Caitlin Clark has picked up her third technical foul this season.

The Indiana Fever built a lead 19-point over the Chicago Sky on Thursday at Gainrbidge Fieldhouse, but emotions appeared to boil over as the Fever's double-digit lead was whittled away yet again.

The Sky went on a 14-5 run to take a one-point lead over the Fever with 6:57 remaining in the third quarter. Clark had the opportunity to regain the lead, but her driving layup was denied by Chicago's Azura Stevens. No foul was called on the block, which prompted Clark to emphatically swing her arm in the air toward the referee.

"That's a foul," Clark could be heard saying on the Prime Video broadcast.

The technical foul call on Clark was initially delayed. The referees allowed the Sky to play out their transition opportunity, which ended with a layup by Chicago's Kamilla Cardoso to give the Sky a 56-53 lead with 6:36 left in the quarter. Fever head coach Stephanie White called a timeout as Sky's run stretched to 16-5.

Officiating continued to be a source of frustration for the Fever. Less than two minutes later, White picked up a technical with 4:56 remaining in the third after Aliyah Boston was called for an offensive foul, her fourth personal.

Clark is up to 24 points and eight assists in 29 minutes.

Thursday's contest marks the second consecutive game the Fever surrendered a double-digit lead to an opponent. The Fever held on to defeat the Washington Mystics in buzzer-beating fashion on Monday, June 8.
