Fans’ preferred lineup against Brighton: Anybody but Garnacho

Chelsea have two fit wingers at the moment, but one of them is called Alejandro Garnacho, and he’s so out of favor, that he managed to collect just 14% of the vote for tonight’s preferred starting lineup. Even Jesse Derry (18%) and the local myth that is Marc Guiu (15%) have managed more.

Neither of them came close to getting into the WAGNH Community’s starting lineup of course, with the voters instead preferring the three-midfielder look that we haven’t seen for a while, basically since Cole Palmer’s return to fitness: Andrey Santos joining Moisés Caicedo in the center and Enzo Fernández pushing up.

Trevoh Chalobah meanwhile returns at the back —though partnering Jorrel Hato rather than Wesley Fofana (38%) — while up front it’s Liam Delap once again, given the uncertain fitness status of João Pedro (41%).

Roméo Lavia got a decent 30% while Mamadou Sarr continues to struggle along at 18%. Still better than either Dário Essugo (5%) or Benoît Badiashile (2%)
