As we approach the midway point of the spring sports season, it is time to reveal the results of the Fan Vote for preseason athletes of the year in Pueblo Boys Track and Field.
This is our first fan vote for boys Track and Field preseason athletes.
With over 79,000 votes cast this year, the winner for the 2026 Pueblo preseason boys Track and Field athlete of the year is Casey Pearson, of Pueblo Central earning 46,102 votes.

Pearson is a senior and has been steadily improving all year long on the track. He is a long-distance runner and has consistently finished in the top ten of the 3200-meter race in the past few events.
Coming in second place is Coda Deulen of Pueblo West with 31,054 votes, and in third is Richard Sagona of Pueblo County with 1,255 votes. Brody Renner of Pueblo Central and Ethan Villanueva of Pueblo County round out the top five.
