I got an email from the Cardinals that they are conducting a focus group study/survey on our fan experience at UofP.

Anyone else get this? It's supposed to take place Dec 1st in the evening, somewhere near Pointe So. Mountain area.

So if anyone has any gripes, let me know and (if I go) will pass them on! Well, try to balance the gripes with some positive stuff :D

Yeah, when I have to use the porta pottys, I have to leave Andys tailgate and it takes a 1/2 hour to get back, so then I have to get in line for another brat...:D

I know this won't ever happen, but I would love it if they expanded the Great Lawn! It might jsut be me, but IMO, it has become way too crowded to really enjoy the tailgating experience! I notice that the Orange and Red lots never fully fill up, so can't they strip out some of those parking areas and put in more lawn??

I love the Great Lawn. And I do enjoy tailgating with all of the other lawn lovers! However, it's gotten out of hand. You can't toss a ball around or play any other games without risking issues/injuries to others...

I signed up for the Focus group as well. And I am gonna tell them how much I love the fact that Whis is getting BOTH RB's involved! :D

Anyway I talked with the Organization before the new stadium because they wanted fan input about what we wanted.

So I really look forward to this. I got my confirmation in the email already.

And 82 : You should try out Lof F next season. We have it pretty good over there. All grass and plenty of room.

I signed up as well.

The stadium pat-down policy is a joke, and I know it's an NFL rule, but it does not accomplish anything.

Are you both going to Group A on Dec 1st @ 7.30pm?

I was worried it was some kind of scam for my unpaid parking tickets :)

Not a local, so maybe they won't care, but it is an absolute nightmare getting out of the parking lots. So much so that I'd rather pay double the going room rate and stay at the Hampton across the way than try to fight, for an hour or two, my way out of the lot.

That's my biggest gripe - mostly because I know I have a 5 hour drive (at best) staring me in the face as soon as I get out of the stadium.

Gripe #2 - more big and tall in the team shop.

[edit] - positive side - it's a great experience, no matter how you cut it. Stadium is great, and so are the people.

My biggest gripe too. And I only live 2.25 miles from the stadium. It takes me at least an hour to leave the lot and get home, if I take advantage of my "free" but you pay for it parking.

If they weren't so darn stuck on "the lot must clear 1 hour after the end of the game" rule we would walk over and catch some lunch\dinner at Westgate until it clears but the way it is now I'm better of on the bike, which is really rough when it is hot and hey I'll admit it sometimes I'm feeling lazy and would rather drive.

But you are right it is still a really great experience, I am sad for those that can't join us.

I signed up for Group B also.

My biggest gripe is the food and beer selection. UoP doesn't have the variety of great food choices that other modern stadiums have. Not to mention I don't enjoy crap beer!

My other issue is showing scores from around the league. I want a board that shows the scores from around the league on a continual basis. Showing one play from a game and then not showing the final score is the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

My biggest complaint (and it's not that big a deal) is the food concessions at UoP are sub-par. I understand that they allow non-profit organizations to staff them and money then goes to charitable causes, so that is good. But the result is that the food selections are minimal and not too exciting.

I have been to other venues which rent out concession spaces to private/corporate businesses which then seek to differentiate themselves from the low fare food selections, resulting in much more varied and tasty food choices. For example: at PnC Park (Pittsburgh Pirates) they have Primanati Bros. sandwiches (a Pittsburgh specialty) and Perogies!

I think the new regulations on tailgating that the Cards have put into place pretty much stink. And I have always from Season one in UofP had issue with the way Security operates.

Just an observation - when I went to an Oakland game this season, we stayed in the stadium for an hour and half after the game, and when we went to the parking lot (it was where all the season ticket holders were parked), the party was still going strong.

We stayed for another hour there, then went to the airport - and there were still tailgaters there when we left.

Thats how it has always been at UofP until the Cards put the new rules in place this year. Is it going to prevent us from going to the games? No ! So will they care about people not likeing it? No, the tickets are still getting bought so why change it.

Heck we used to stay in the lot until most everyone was gone. This was for several reasons. We liked to hang out with our buds that we only see during the games (we all live pretty far from eachother) and it also saved us from fighting traffic.

I am in Group B.

Another gripe - the large score board does not show down and distance.

World famous primanati Bros' Sandwiches would cost 50.00 a piece+ if they had them at Jerry Jones' dallas field.I think a pizza is 100.00 .No joke.

Leaving the parking lot and the one hour rule is my biggest grip. Why do I have to go west to go east (out of the lot) when leaving the great lawn?

Like like the idea of closer porta potties on the east end of the great lawn.

Can't stand visiting fans in my section, can you do something about that!

i have 2 gripes. 1) the speaker system really sucks. where i sit you can't hear anything, it's all muffled and you can't hear announcements. 2) they changed the time that you can enter the stadium now. why?

The thing that has always bugged me since day one is the jacked up aspect ratio of the main jumbotron screen. Doubt this will be fixed anytime soon due to cost, but it is very annoying that in order to see replays, they have to use half the screen to show the full scene.

Tell them enough with the FRICKING TOWELS!!!

Hand out the plastic megaphones that many of us already bring in. Get the crowd noise LOUD. Tell them that we need to advocate a stadium of noise. If that means we need Big Red on the screen saying Get Loud on EVERY down of defense, then so be it...and him saying SHHHHHH and QUIET when we are on O.

Our fans have a lot to learn.

I was invited to this, but I can't attend. I do hope someone BEGS for the megaphones though...good lord, sooooo much better than a towel, and just as cheap.
