The Atlanta Falcons kicked off another round of OTAs at their Flowery Branch training facility on Monday. The team has two more workouts scheduled over the next few days, but there were a few key players missing to begin the week.
As head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters this afternoon, both wide receiver Drake London and quarterback Michael Penix Jr. were unavailable for Monday's OTAs. London was held out so that he could finalize his new four-year extension, which he officially signed this afternoon.
Penix was out for a scheduled rest day, however, Stefanski reiterated that the third-year quarterback was "hitting every milestone" in his rehab. With Trevor Siemian working off to the side, that left Tua Tagovailoa and Jack Strand as the team's primary quarterbacks.
Thanks to many of the Falcons' local beat reporters, we were able to gather some highlights from Monday's OTAs on social media. Check out the latest clips below.
