Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. may not be cleared for 11-on-11 drills as of yet. However, he still has one very obvious advantage over his competition for the starting job this season: Penix's arm power is vastly superior compared to that of Tua Tagovailoa, who sat out Day 1 of camp with a back injury.

Watch Penix unleash a long ball to rookie wide receiver Zachariah Branch for a touchdown at today's practice.

This is a stark reminder of Penix's ability to attack the defense vertically - an element that will otherwise be missing from Atlanta's offense with him on the sidelines.

As for Branch, he was mostly used around the line of scrimmage on screens and other quick-hitting concepts during his time at Georgia, but this proves he has more than enough speed to take the top off a defense. The more of this we see from him, the better.
