Falcons elevate wide receiver, edge rusher for Week 16 game vs. Cardinals

The Atlanta Falcons made a few minor changes to their 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's road game against the Arizona Cardinals. The team released kick returner Jamal Agnew and signed cornerback C.J. Henderson off of the practice squad in a corresponding move.

The Falcons also elevated edge rusher Khalid Kareem and wide receiver Chris Blair from the practice squad for Week 16. Kareem has appeared in 30 games over the last five seasons, recording 34 tackles (17 solo), one sack and seven QB hits. The veteran can help fill in if rookie James Pearce Jr. is unable to play on Sunday.

Blair can provide depth at wide receiver with KhaDarel Hodge going on the injured reserve list earlier this week. The 28-year-old had nine catches for 197 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the 2025 NFL preseason, but he did not make the roster out of training camp.
