The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with free-agent wide receiver Jahan Dotson, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter. Dotson, a former first-round pick, spent his four NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to Schefter, the Falcons are signing Dotson to a two-year, $15 million contract with $10 million in guaranteed money. Dotson will give the Falcons some much-needed depth at the wide receiver position behind Drake London.
Over his first four seasons, Dotson has recorded 121 catches for 1,519 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. A true speed threat, Dotson topped the 500-yard mark in each of his two seasons. However, his role decreased in 2024 and 2025.
Last season, Dotson had just 18 catches for 262 receiving yards and one touchdown in 17 games (10 starts). The former Penn State standout is still just 25 years old. Atlanta is extremely thin at wide receiver after releasing Darnell Mooney and KhaDarel Hodge.
The Falcons agreed to terms with wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus and tight end Austin Hooper, both of whom began their careers in Atlanta playing with president of football Matt Ryan. Meanwhile, running back Tyler Allgeier and defensive tackle David Onyemata are expected to sign elsewhere.
