The Fairport Red Raiders, after an impressive comeback to win in the Class AAA state tournament semifinal round, have a chance to win the first state championship in the team's history tonight.

Fairport faces Albany Christian Brothers Academy in the tournament final that tips off at 7:45 p.m. inside Vision Veterans near downtown Binghamton.

Albany Christian Brothers Academy has 24 wins and zero losses. The Brothers are No. 4 in the Class AAA state rankings, two slots ahead of No. 6 Fairport (23-1).

"The biggest thing for us is dealing with their physicality," Fairport coach Scott Fitch said. "They are really good. They have 6-foot-6, 6-7 but the biggest thing is they are just strong."
