SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – The Explorers were on the hunt for a series sweep on Sunday against the Chicago Dogs, but fell 9-6.
The Dogs plated four runners in the third inning and another five in the fifth to go up 9-1. Sioux City fought back, but the task was too tall.
The Explorers now head back on the road to face the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Tuesday.
