Former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander has sold his downtown condo for $420,000.
Alexander was released by the Packers in June and signed with the Baltimore Ravens soon after for up to $6 million, including incentives. He's missed some of training camp because of ongoing knee issues, but played in the Ravens' opening game loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Packers picked him in the first round, the 18th pick overall, in the 2018 NFL draft.
The two-story, two-bedroom unit is in the Riverfront Loft Condominiums at 101 Cherry St. in downtown Green Bay. Alexander acquired the unit for $420,000 in 2019, according to Brown County register of deeds records. It initially was listed for $469,900, but he sold it for the same price he paid for it. The sale closed Aug. 20.
The 1,699-square-foot condo has 2½ bathrooms, two parking spaces and views throughout of the Fox River. The main bedroom includes an en suite with a steam shower and Kohler soaking tub. The other bedroom also has an en suite.
Alexander played seven years for the Packers. His best year was 2022, when he played 16 games, made five interceptions and was named to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams. We was a Pro Bowl and All-Pro player in 2020 as well. Alexander was plagued by injuries his final two years with the Packers, playing only seven games each year. He started 76 of 116 games with the Packers and recorded 12 interceptions.
In 2022, the Packers signed Alexander to a four-year, $84 million contract extension with a signing bonus of $30 million.
