Few coaches in NFL history have had the kind of success that former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians has had at the quarterback position.
The former Super Bowl champion has coached the likes of Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Andrew Luck, and Carson Palmer throughout his career. Add a couple of titles with these elite names, and Arians understands what it takes to be successful at the quarterback position.
In a story written to The Athletic, Arians highlighted one main thing that separates quarterbacks when it comes to being successful in the NFL.
"After all my years in the NFL, I think [that] the No. 1 indicator of whether players in general and quarterbacks in particular will succeed or fail — how they handle failure," Arians said.
Considering the Buccaneers' head coach has coached Brady to a Super Bowl win in Tampa Bay, it's not that outlandish to assume he could be onto something here.

Arians has seen that before. And there are plenty of quarterbacks who fit the mold of what doesn't make a successful player in the big leagues.
The Buccaneers were able to win Super Bowl LV with that mindset. And while Arians' coaching days are done, the longtime quarterback whisperer still has tricks to show about how he got to where he was.
And how to see who the next great signal-callers are.
