Four former Denver Broncos players hit the NFL's transaction wire in recent days.
Offensive tackle Marques Cox, who was waived by the Broncos last month, was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. Cox (6-5, 312 pounds) originally joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky in 2025. He spent part of his rookie season on Denver's practice squad. The Edmonton Elks have also placed Cox on their negotiations list, so if the lineman ever runs out of NFL opportunities, the CFL could be a fallback option for him.
Elsewhere in the league, the San Francisco 49ers waived running back Sincere McCormick, who cleared waivers and is now a free agent. McCormick (5-8, 205 pounds) spent part of last season on the Broncos' practice squad.
Additionally, long snapper Zach Triner was released by the New York Giants last week. Triner, who won Super Bowl LV with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spent most of the spring with Denver in 2025 before being cut. He had a stint with the Washington Commanders last season before landing in New York this offseason.
Finally, wide receiver Joaquin Davis was waived by the Minnesota Vikings. Davis signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina Central last spring, but did not make the 53-man roster as a rookie. After clearing waivers, Davis will look to find a new NFL home as a free agent.
