I'm usually all over A-Dub as I just don't think he's had a good year... However, where did he commit "really bad plays" last night?? I'm lost on that one...

There was a long run by Gore when they were going right to left where he flowed to the near side of the field. A dub didn't read run soon enough, was blocked out of the way, and almost looked like he didn't even try to make a legitimate play on Gore. It looked like he mentally checked out for that one play. ESPN highlighted the play and even drew the path that Gore took, didn't highlight Wilson, but it was the same play.

I remember the play and it seemed to me A-Dub could have reacted better, but got caught up in the traffic. Still, he led the team in tackles, had an INT, 1 QB hurry and 5 passes defended... What the hell more do people want from a guy in a big game, when the rest of the team is crapping in their panties??

I also pointed out the Gore TD run. He checked out of that play too. I have no doubt that he could have stopped him on that run. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I am about that play. He had a better than average game and I hold that one against him more than the same 8 yard hitch route TD. Not much could be done against that one. Although Vernon Davis ran on him about 3 or 4 times.

And it is also about 5 or 6 TD's scored against him vs. TE's this year, contrary to what Joe's stats might say. :D
