Next up for the Alabama Crimson Tide on the SEC basketball schedule is their annual trip to Auburn.

Alabama (15-7 overall, 5-4 conference), which fell out of the top 25 polls this week following a 23-point blowout loss to the Florida Gators in Gainesville last Sunday, picked up a much-needed 100-97 win over the SEC-leading Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday night at Coleman Coliseum.

Aden Holloway led Alabama with 20 points, one of six Crimson Tide players to finish in double figures. Labaron Philon added 17 points and Latrell Wrightsell had 16, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:11 left in regulation. For the game, Alabama connected on 16 shots from beyond the arc.

Nate Oats' team is currently No. 23 in the latest NET rankings and No. 22 in the KenPom ratings. In USA TODAY Sports' most recent March Madness projections, Alabama is a projected No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Auburn (14-8, 5-4) is coming off a 77-69 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers last Saturday. The Tigers had won four straight games before falling in Knoxville. Keyshawn Hall led Auburn with 21 points in the loss, and Tahaad Pettiford had 11.

The Tigers are also unranked in this week's top 25 polls. Auburn is 30th in the NET rankings and 27th in KenPom's ratings.
