Recently, Los Angeles Rams legend Aaron Donald was spotted at the team's facility in Woodland Hills, working out on their practice field as rumors of a potential return continue to swirl. Despite the video, Donald isn't any closer to returning to the NFL.
As first reported by TMZ, Donald appears to be getting into football shape.
The recent video has fueled rumors, but on Saturday, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler clarified the situation, stating that Donald hasn't made a decision on whether he'll play and that his workout is something that has been routine for him since his retirement.
"Aaron Donald, I'm told, has not made a decision about his future as to whether to play this year, and that he does work out of the Rams facility off and on, really over the last few years since he's been retired," stated Fowler. "So there's no hard news here. As last I checked, the Rams hadn't made any sort of firm contract offer to Donald. Now that could be semantics because they have such a good relationship that would be relatively easy and clear-cut to work out."
"Now the Rams are leaning into this possibility, when you talk to people there, they're not denying it. They're sort of open – well, they're certainly open to the idea. Donald seems open to the idea. People in the NFC, you know, executives, coaches are asking around, like, ‘Is this really going to happen?' Could be a situation where he comes in like a sniper, mid to late season, skip training camp, come and get some sacks with Myles Garrett, and then everybody's having fun in L.A."
Donald has sent mixed messages through the media, teasing the possibility of a return since the arrival of reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett. If Donald does return, it would be the first time in NFL history that two multi-time DPOTY winners were on the same team.

Aaron Donald working out at Rams facility is not a new thing. He hasn’t made a call on his future, but the looming possibility has the rest of the league intrigued. @SportsCenter with @KeianaMartinTVpic.twitter.com/e4GHlGRICI
