The 2026 college football season is quickly approaching and ESPN is locking in one of the top names in country music to sing the network’s anthem this fall.
The entertainment and sports giant is always looking to draw extra eyeballs to its biggest games. Meanwhile, their college football shows like “College GameDay” have featured special country acts over the years.

2026 won’t be any different after ESPN managed to get Grammy-winner Shaboozey to star in their newest football anthem. The talented 31-year-old singer burst onto the country scene in 2024 with his hit song “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
ESPN reveals that Shaboozey’s new track entitled, “High Noon,” will also include popular hip-hop artist Gunna. The two are set to feature as a lead-in for many college football programs during the new season.
“It’s so exciting to have ‘High Noon’ as the anthem for this upcoming college football season on ESPN,” Shaboozey said. “I’m excited for the song to be part of the energy, tradition, and memories of game day.”

Shaboozey is quickly becoming a household name in the country music world. His “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” spent 19 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 rankings, which is one of the longest runs of all-time.
Meanwhile, the singer isn’t a stranger to the world of sports. Shaboozey wrote one of his first songs about former NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon back in 2014.

His rise to stardom has also put him alongside top names like Beyonce and Post Malone. The trio each performed at an Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans NFL game on Christmas Day nearly two years ago.
