Seattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba is worthy of being an untouchable player in the NFL, but garners a haul in most hypothetical trades conceivable to the thought.
According to ESPN’s Bill Barnwell in his evaluation of the players in the NFL worth first-round picks in a trade, and how many is fitting to acquire their services, Smith-Njigba was named as being worth two future first-round picks and more.
“Having one of the best seasons we've ever seen from a wide receiver goes a long way, as Smith-Njigba racked up 1,793 yards in the regular season before adding 199 more as the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. He hasn't played at that level before and earned a massive new contract this offseason, but there's nothing in JSN's profile suggesting this was a fluke. And as a 24-year-old, Smith-Njigba could be this caliber of player for years to come.”
Smith-Njigba has at least decade of dominance in his future, in the event that he stays healthy and remains in the NFL. His ability to excel at all three receiver slots makes him poised to thrive no matter the situation that he is in, and who he has to share the limelight with, if at all, making him worth favorable draft picks to acquire in a deal.
