The Ravens have long been known as one of the NFL’s few remaining fullback-heavy offenses, but that could be changing this season. While joining Bruce Cunningham and former Raven and Super Bowl Champion Femi Ayanbadejo on 105.7 The Fan, Eric DeCosta explained how conversations with Baltimore’s new coaching staff are already shaping roster construction and offensive philosophy.

“We’ve always been a fullback team, one of a few fullback teams. And in talking to Declan, even during the interview process, it was apparent that we weren’t gonna be a fullback team. We were gonna probably be a three or four tight end team instead.”

The comments provide one of the clearest indications yet that Baltimore's offense may evolve significantly under the new staff. The Ravens still value physical football, but their personnel usage and formations could look much different moving forward.
