More than 150 supporters brought style, sport, and purpose to Salute Ristorante Palm Beach for the 1st Annual Road to the Top Luncheon and Fashion Show. The event provided an afternoon that showcased chic philanthropy at its most meaningful.

The heart of the day was firmly rooted in Road to the Top’s mission: building a stronger future for American show jumping by supporting talented young athletes with training, mentorship, and financial resources as they pursue the highest levels of the sport. The event was co-chaired by Evelyn Treacy and Camille Branca.

“The support from our community for Road to the Top has been amazing,” said Treacy. “I am so proud to be working with Laura Kraut and Katie Prudent as they nurture our talented young athletes, guaranteeing the future growth and success of our discipline.”

Guests began the day with a private shopping experience featuring Palm Beach boutique Fivestory’s latest resort and spring collections, alongside jewelry from Tuleh Gem and Kelly Gerber. During the luncheon, runway models showcased a fresh mix of global designers and sartorial elegance.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet Olympic riders Laura Kraut and Katie Prudent, the founder of Road to the Top. The room grew especially attentive to developing riders Carlee McCutcheon and Trent McGee speaking about their ambitions, the work required to reach their goals, and the gratitude the two feel for the opportunities Road to the Top provides.

“My personal dedication is watching these young athletes grow as they achieve their goals,” said Branca. “Our future Olympic teams depend on the support of rising talent, which is the goal of Road to the Top.”

Guests were visibly moved by the appreciation McCutcheon and McGee expressed.

“The Palm Beach community showed up in a way that truly touched me,” said Road to the Top Executive Director Sissy Wickes. “I appreciate their enthusiastic support of the mission of Road to the Top — to support talented young athletes and the next generation of American Olympic riders.”

Wickes added that the warmth and generosity of the guests proved that they embrace the mission of the foundation, helping strengthen the pipeline for U.S. equestrian sport.

With the energy of the inaugural luncheon setting an exciting new tone for the season, Wickes noted she already has her eye on the future.

Road to the Top is making plans to hold the event again next year in Palm Beach — bringing the community back together to celebrate fashion, friendship, and the future of American equestrian sport.
