England manager Thomas Tuchel got a boost ahead of Saturday's World Cup quarterfinal against Norway with positive news on Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Reece James, all of whom returned to training.

"It's the best news," Tuchel told reporters in Miami, though England will be without Jarell Quansah due to his red card in the famous round of 16 win over Mexico at the Estadio Azteca.

Center back Guehi's participation will be critical as the Three Lions brace to contain his Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland. Quansah's ban will alter the lineup some, but Tuchel has had to deal with injury headaches at right back throughout the tournament.

England has mixed things up on the wings around striker Harry Kane, with Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka getting the nods against Mexico. Jude Bellingham scored two goals in the win, putting together one of his best all-time performances in an England shirt.
