Coaches from Louisville and Hoover high schools won the voting for the Stark County Coach of the Year.

Emily Brislen, who led the Louisville softball team, is the girls coach winner. The boys coach winner is Bryan Ashby, who guided the Hoover baseball team.

Brislen received 73.59% of the vote and Ashby received 70.25% of the vote.

A total of 7,200 votes were cast overall. Look for more on the two coaches below.

Guided the Leopards to the state tournament as they finished as the Division III state runner-up.

Bryan Ashby, Hoover baseball​


Guided the Vikings to their first state tournament since 1999 as they won a Division II regional title.
