Cincinnati Reds infielder Elly De La Cruz had Reds fans sharing what he posted on his Instagram story, which included a Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse menu that read, "Welcome back to Cincinnati, Scott Boras!"
Boras has been De La Cruz's agent throughout the two-time All-Star shortstop's four seasons with the Reds.
De La Cruz also shared video of a dessert topped with a Reds' hat. The dream-come-true for Cincinnati fans, of course, would be a celebration of a long-term extension with the team.
De La Cruz, who turned 24 years old in January, would play his final arbitration eligible season in 2029, as it stands now.
De La Cruz's double-play partner, second baseman Matt McLain, was represented by Boras until McLain switched agents before the 2025 season.
