Turning point: Jett Jones scored the first of four unanswered goals and the ECHL South Division-leading Florida Everblades overcame an early deficit to beat the Jacksonville Icemen 5-2 on Jan. 14 in Estero's Hertz Arena.

Three stars: 1. Connor Doherty, Florida (one goal, two assists). 2. Craig Needham, Florida (one goal). 3. Oliver Cooper, Florida (one goal).

Penalty box: In a nearly penalty-free game, all three power-play opportunities went unconverted.

Around the rink: Florida (23-6-3-1) outshot the Icemen 45-14, forcing 40 saves from Icemen goaltender Michael Bullion. … Holden Wale scored his first goal for Jacksonville (14-16-1-0) in the second period, giving the Icemen a short-lived lead. … Adrien Beraldo also scored for the Icemen off a Bennett MacArthur assist. … The Icemen traded forward Brody Crane to the Norfolk Admirals to complete a deal that brought David Jankowski to Jacksonville.
