Waddle is my guy but unless we do well in FA I think our first 2 picks almost have to be on defense.

Just really want a guy who can catch the ball and take it to the house, return punts, and get deep

There's a video of him racing Ruggs, it's a bad angle but it's like 50 yards and Ruggs beats him by inches.

Really explosive, small, but explosive as all get out
The more I look at this draft, the better I like it for AZ. It is a deep edge class so we don't have to use one in round 1. ILB would be nice, but not a huge need. IOL is limited to a few prospects and only one or two in round 1. CB is almost round 1 and then round 3 for me. We have some options.

Also, I am caring less and less about defense. We have Baker, Murphy, Simmons, Jones and REddick to build around. We have some young dudes and Jordan Phillips to watch on the DL. We will add two vet bodies at CB in FA. The rest is more or less deciding who we want to re-sign. The defense won't fall much from this year.

Add to the offense, make Murray better and the defense will get better.

I keep pulling this draft class on thedraftnetwork's draft simulator and I keep doing it because it makes me so happy even though I doubt it actually happens.

17 - Rashawn Slater - C - Northwestern
49 - Jayson Oweh - EDGE - Penn St.
80 - Greg Newsome II - CB - Northwestern
157 - Robert Rochell - CB - Central Arkansas
240 - Labryan Ray - DT - Alabama

At this point I doubt we’ll go EDGE in the draft at all

I want SK getting a WR in free agency I don’t want him drafting any WR.

I googled Rochell again, my goodness that kid has had such a tragic life. His father, uncle and 2 cousins were all killed in drive by shootings and from the sound of it, 4 separate incidents. Kid is from Shreveport Louisiana.

Would sure expect him to be a fighter on the field growing up like that

I think that could potentially be correct, but if they can't agree to a long term deal with Reddick, Chandler's age and let's say Golden signs elsewhere...things get pretty thin. Even if Golden and Reddick come back, Chandler is still 30+ and they are likely to cut Kennard. Can still get a good player in round 3 in this draft.
