The Philadelphia Eagles are showing interest in one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 NFL draft — and a potential A.J. Brown replacement.
Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson, one of the top prospects in the class, held a private workout on Friday.
More than 20 teams were in attendance, including the Eagles, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Tyson has dealt with a hamstring issue throughout the pre-draft process, preventing him from working out at the NFL Scouting Combine and Arizona State’s pro day.
But Tyson used Friday to prove to NFL teams why he’s worthy of a first-round pick.
Tyson is the No. 3 receiver in the draft class behind Ohio State’s Carnell Tate and USC’s Makai Lemon, according to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler.
Tyson ranks as the No. 20 overall prospect, which puts him in range for the Eagles at No. 23.
The 6-foot-2, 203-pound target was dominant when he was on the field for Arizona State. Tyson recorded 136 receptions for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in 21 games played for the Sun Devils.
But injuries played a major part in Tyson’s collegiate career. He tore his ACL in 2022, broke his collarbone in 2024 and dealt with ankle and hamstring issues in 2025.
We’ll see if Tyson makes it to the Eagles in the first round — and if he does, whether or not Philadelphia can overlook the injury history to secure a top-tier pass-catcher.
