The 2025 NFL draft is over, and as the Eagles prepare to add ten versatile players to the roster, it's never too early to look ahead to the 2026 draft and an elite group of prospects.
The 2026 class is stacked with elite quarterback prospects, and while the Eagles have one of the NFL's best in Jalen Hurts, they'll have plenty of options for other key positions with 33 players expected to test free agency, according to Over The Cap.
With the rookie minicamp set to begin, we're looking at early mock draft projections for the Birds, who are reloading at intriguing positions.
Dane Brugler has the Eagles reloading the trenches with another Boston College offensive lineman.
Jordan Reid has the Eagles rolling with Goedert for one more season, then selecting his replacement from the SEC.
PFF has the Eagles adding a cornerback in Round 1.
NBC Sports has the Eagles addressing the trenches.
Luke Easterling has the Eagles adding an elite wide receiver in the first round.
Bryan Fischer has the Eagles adding a wide receiver.
The reigning champs seem unlikely to bring back Jahan Dotson, and A.J. Brown’s not getting any younger. Boston has fantastic size on the outside (6'4", 209 pounds) and is primed for a big campaign playing for a head coach who also happens to be GM Howie Roseman’s college roommate.
Bleacher Report has the Eagles adding a talented cornerback.
Reuben Frank has the Birds adding Lane Johnson's eventual replacement.

The Athletic-Philadelphia Eagles: Jude Bowry, OT, Boston College
Dane Brugler has the Eagles reloading the trenches with another Boston College offensive lineman.
Ozzy Trapilo, who was drafted in the second round over the weekend, locked down right tackle for Boston College while Bowry handled left tackle duties. Bowry’s run blocking needs to improve, but his efficiency patterns in pass pro drew scouts’ eyes.

ESPN-Philadelphia Eagles Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt
Jordan Reid has the Eagles rolling with Goedert for one more season, then selecting his replacement from the SEC.
The Eagles have broken some of their draft trends recently. In 2024, they drafted a corner in Round 1 (Quinyon Mitchell) for the first time since 2002. This year, they drafted an off-ball linebacker in Round 1 (Jihaad Campbell) for the first time since 1979. Let's keep that going with Stowers, who would be their first Round 1 tight end since 1988. Stowers broke out last season, catching 49 passes for 638 yards and 5 touchdowns. His ability to create after the catch is special, as his 8.1-yard post-catch average was eighth best among FBS tight ends. He could eventually replace Dallas Goedert.

PFF -31. Philadelphia Eagles: CB A.J. Harris, Penn State
PFF has the Eagles adding a cornerback in Round 1.
One of the few needs for the Eagles is to find a long-term answer at the outside cornerback spot opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Philadelphia does so here with Harris, who plays only a two-hour drive away. He finished his sophomore year as one of the 10 most valuable cornerbacks in the nation, according to PFF’s Wins Above Average metric, while allowing only 0.76 yards per coverage snap. Harris can succeed on the outside or in the slot and has excellent instincts in zone coverage while being very technically refined overall.

NBC Sports -30) Philadelphia Eagles: Austin Barber, OT, Florida
NBC Sports has the Eagles addressing the trenches.
Barber (6-6, 314 pounds) has held down the left tackle spot at Florida for the last two seasons and is now slated to protect the blind side of potential future first-round quarterback DJ Lagway. Barber boasts ideal length and heft to become a multi-year starter in The League.

Athlon Sports -32. Philadelphia Eagles: Zachariah Branch | WR | Georgia
Luke Easterling has the Eagles adding an elite wide receiver in the first round.
Jalen Hurts has one of the NFL's best receiver tandems in AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, but that No. 3 spot could use an upgrade. Branch is an undersized but explosive playmaker who could do some serious damage while opposing defenses are busy trying to stop the rest of the weapons in Philly's offense.

Sports Illustrated -Philadelphia Eagles: Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
Bryan Fischer has the Eagles adding a wide receiver.
The reigning champs seem unlikely to bring back Jahan Dotson, and A.J. Brown’s not getting any younger. Boston has fantastic size on the outside (6'4", 209 pounds) and is primed for a big campaign playing for a head coach who also happens to be GM Howie Roseman’s college roommate.
Bleacher Report: Philadelphia Eagles: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson
Bleacher Report has the Eagles adding a talented cornerback.
Meanwhile, Avieon Terrell looks to follow his brother A.J.’s footsteps as a first-round cornerback from Clemson.
"The younger Terrell is a much better run defender than his brother, placing fourth among all cornerbacks with a 90.7 PFF run-defense grade this past season, and his three forced fumbles tied for second," Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema and Max Chadwick. "Terrell is still excellent in coverage as well, leading all Power Four corners with 14 forced incompletions in 2024. While not the biggest at just 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, Terrell plays with outstanding physicality for the position and has the speed to stick with receivers in man coverage."
NBC Sports Philadelphia: 32. Eagles: Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami (Fla.)
Reuben Frank has the Birds adding Lane Johnson's eventual replacement.
For all the talk about Howie Roseman building through the trenches, he hasn’t taken an offensive lineman in the first round since 2019 and the Andre Dillard disaster and he’s the only one Howie has drafted in the first round since Lane Johnson in 2013. The Eagles took a couple tackles this weekend but not until the sixth round. It may be time. Johnson is going into his 13th season and turns 35 next week. At some point, the Eagles will have to start planning for Johnson’s retirement, and Mauigoa is an interesting possibility in next year’s draft. Mauigoa allowed just one sack and one quarterback hit on nearly 600 pass block reps in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus. Mauigoa started at right tackle for the Hurricanes as a true freshman in 2023 and again last year, so by the end of this coming year he’ll have three years of high-level right tackle starting experience. Mauigoa has next-level athleticism at 6-foot-6, 315 pounds and a nasty edge to his game that Eagles fans would love, playing to the whistle and beyond. Mauigoa has the whole package – size, athleticism and power. And he's has taken practice snaps at guard, so right guard is in the mix if the Eagles need him to swing inside before he takes over for Johnson. Hopefully, Johnson isn’t close to retiring because he's still the best right tackle in the game. But if he does, Mauigoa would be an elite heir apparent.
