The 2025 NFL draft is finally upon us, and the Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to welcome a new group of rookies.

Philadelphia enters the draft process with plenty of pressing needs and a retooled roster that will need to replace six key defense contributors.

Roseman, known for never sitting still, has always been an active draft night trader and will likely make a move or two during rounds 1-3. Over the past ten years, Roseman has conducted over 45 draft-day trades, not including the 2015 draft, when coach Chip Kelly snatched personnel control.

There has been no shortage of reports, rumors, and rumblings from NFL insiders about how Philadelphia is approaching the 32nd overall selection. Albert Breer reports that the Eagles could consider trading out of the first round.

Among the teams that have explored moves down late in the first round, into second round—Broncos, Steelers, Packers, Vikings, Rams, Lions, Chiefs and Eagles. If someone is looking to come up for a QB from the top of 2, they'll be able to find a trade partner.

Depending on how the board shakes out, the Giants, Browns, and Steelers could all be looking to trade back into the first round for Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, or Jalen Milroe. Philadelphia has eight picks in the 2024 draft and 20+ combined over the next two years.
