This of course means that Duke alum Mason Plumlee will be playing for his first NBA championship. A 13-year veteran with 880 career games of experience, Plumlee is the oldest active Blue Devil in the NBA.
In four seasons with Duke, Plumlee averaged a double-double, tallying 15.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.2 steals per game. Following a four-year run with the Blue Devils, Plumlee was selected with the No. 22 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets. His brothers Marshall and Miles each played in the NBA and also went to Duke.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals is set to begin Wednesday at 8:30 PM EST.
