Duke's season didn't end the way Cameron Boozer or its fans hoped, but the phenomenal freshman has started college basketball awards season with a bang.

Boozer added to his list of individual accolades Friday after he was named Associated Press Player of the Year. The Blue Devils big man did it all, averaging over 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists per game.

"You just want to affect winning any way you can," Boozer said, per the AP.

Boozer becomes the fifth freshman to take home AP Player of the Year, joining fellow Duke players Cooper Flagg and Zion Williamson, as well as Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant.
