While Duke star Cameron Boozer has drawn many comparisons, there may not be any more accurate than Al Horford of the Golden State Warriors.
Last week at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine, Boozer's measurements were eerily similar to the former Florida Gator.
Height: 6 feet, 8.25 inches
Weight: 252.8 pounds
Wingspan: 7 feet, 1.5 in
Standing reach: 9'0"
Height: 6 feet, 8.75 inches
Weight: 246 pounds
Wingspan: 7 feet, 0.75 in
Standing reach: 8'11"
Like Boozer, Horford had a track record of winning in college, helping Florida to two NCAA titles. When in the NBA, Horford was a solid rebounder, secondary scorer and passer for his position. Additionally, Horford's ability to adapt to a fast-paced game helped transform his career. Throughout his first eight seasons, Horford never averaged more than 0.5 3-point attempts per game. In the 11 years since, Horford has averaged at least three 3-point attempts per game, shooting an impressive 37.7% from beyond the arc. Lastly, and even more ironic, Horford was selected No. 3 overall by the Atlanta Hawks, the same pick that Boozer is expected to fall to in many mock drafts.
