"Bad news for Titans wide receiver Drew Bennett.

We told you this morning about his dislocated thumb. Titans coach Jeff
Fisher confirmed that Bennett had surgery and will be out at least
this week and maybe longer."

Got this off of footballguys wire news Did not see it posted.

No worries

Even though Tyrone Calico has been a major disappointment, our rookies Brandon Jones and Roydell Williams will do just fine :)

No Worries, I am sure Jeff Fisher is a little worried, have your best by far WR out for the game. I would be worried if Boldin or Fitz was out for the game.

So Titanium what can you tell us about the Titans?

All I know is so far Pacman is a huge bust, can't catch punts let alone return them, I've seen him give up at least 4 TD's already this year just from highlights no idea if it's more than that. I know Henry is suspended, big shock there I'm really hoping the Titans were smart enough to make that pick conditional on Henry's behavior?

Why all the sacks from KVB this year, something in the scheme?

I think I'm starting McNair over McNabb this week....and Chris Brown, too.

If we win, it'll be because we outscore them. That offense is pretty good--especially with their TEs, (a position we have a hard time stopping when a team has one good one, the titans have 2 and maybe 3 good ones--I think combined they have more catches than any other TE corps in the league).

In most cases losing your number one wide receiver would really hurt, but with our wide receivers it doesn't concern me *that* much. We have Brandon Jones, Roydell Williams, Erron Kenny, Ben Troupe, Tyrone Calico and Bo Scaife.

If the Cardinals have a hard time defending against the tight end, then look for a heavy dose of tight end play from the Titans. The Titans love going to the tight ends and we have some good ones.

I think it's still way too early to call Pacman a bust. I'll admit that the 6th pick in the draft needed to come in right away and make an impact, but it's obvious that Pac is a work in progress. I have no doubt that Pac will probably get burned a few times on Sunday, especially if the Cardinals are in the red zone and they throw the fade pass to Pacman's side. All your wide out would need to do is stand there with his hands in the air to catch the ball, I think Pac is 4 foot 8 ;)

Travis Henry (obviously) won't be playing on Sunday, but he wasn't really doing anything before his suspension anyway. We will try give the Cardinals a heavy dose of Chris Brown. Every once and a while, the Titans will plug Payton (Walter Payton's son) look out for this guy, he is quick! Brown tends to hit the hole a little slow, but if he breaks loose, then he's hard to catch, Payton hits the hole fast. The Titans will normally put him in when they are in the red zone.

Our special teams have been suprisingly good this year. We have had horrible special teams over the years, so it's good to see this area improve. Although our kicker (Bironas) isn't a Rackers, he's a pretty good kicker. Pacman used to return kicks, but look for Courtney Roby to return kicks and Thurman to return punts. Pac almost returned a kickoff for a touchdown against the Texans, but that was the Texans ;)

I think I posted this on another thread, but Steve McNair has been inconsistent this year. If you are fortunate, you will catch him on an off day. If he is on, then look out, it could be a long day for the Cards. Although I'm sure you can relate to the theory "Give our quarterback time to throw the ball, and we'll kill you"... I think the offensive lines will play a huge role in this game. If our O-line gives McNair protection, the advantage Titans. Same thing goes for the Cards O-line. Our goal obviously will be to pressure Warner or McCown. KVB has been a manimal this year. Although Cincy did a pretty good job in shutting him down last Sunday, he has been wreaking havoc for opposing teams all season. Before last night's Colt's game, he was tied with Freeney for the highest number of sacks in the NFL.

One player that could create problems for the Cardinals is Albert Haynesworth. He is absolutely dominating.

I have absolutely no "feel" for this game. I will be flying out to Phoenix on Thursday and attending the game on Sunday. I grew up in Arizona and graduated from Corona Del Sol, so the Cardinals are my second favorite team. I won't be disappointed if the Titans lose, it's not like we're going to the playoffs or anything.

it's easy to find you guys at halftime ... just look for the large crowd of drunk people hurling insults at you ... then walk into them

I'm going to be there with my twin sister (yes I'm female) ;) We may have to check out the NEZ at half.

I'll be wearing my #89 Titans jersey, and she'll have her Rolle jersey on. We shouldn't be hard to spot (ha)

The last time I attended a Titans/Cardinals game was the first year we were the Titans. It was a preseason game. My sis and I ate at Coopers (is that place still open?) and I had a guy offer me $150 bucks for my Titans jersey. The fans were very nice to me even though I had on enemy colors.

I'm fully expecting insults and such. That's part of the fun right? heh heh

Oh yeah.......Corona del Sol Grad, I graduated from Mountain Pointe. While I was there we were 4-0 against you guys in football. So if an "Aztecs Suck" chant flies your way.....I'm the Mustached man that flung it.

My sister will be wearing her Cardinal's jersey and I will be wearing my Titan's jersey. Maybe if the NEZ group has a few too many (nah.....) they'll think they're seeing double with different jerseys....

Looking forward to the game. Even if I get the "Titans Suck" chant. I gotta luv the Cardinal fans, they are truly diehards!
