The NBA Finals are approaching, but that doesn’t mean teams outside the title hunt aren’t paying attention. In fact, several players and teams have stayed active in the media, offering predictions, analysis, and even debating fans online. Draymond Green is the latest to make headlines.
Green has repeatedly expressed doubts about the New York Knicks throughout the postseason. He even appeared as a guest analyst on Inside the NBA during last night’s pregame show. His appearance drew the attention of Knicks fans, many of whom were already frustrated after the New York City Police Department shut down the team’s massive watch party.

After the Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3, they moved to within one win of reaching the NBA Finals. Unsurprisingly, Green became a focal point for fans celebrating the victory. One fan tagged him on X and received a stunning response from the Warriors star.

After a fan told him to “come outside” following the Knicks’ win, Green replied, “Watch your mouth before I crush those dirty ass kids in your banner.” The user’s X profile featured two children in the banner photo.
Green is not known for keeping a cool head. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous confrontations, both during games and at practice. However, social media often rewards restraint, especially when comments can be interpreted as threats involving children.
