Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is disappointed that LeBron James opted to join the Philadelphia 76ers instead of the Warriors. However, he is still giving his opinions on what James joining the 76ers could mean for their rotation.

Take note that LeBron is not the only new arrival for the 76ers. They now have Jaylen Brown as one of their star players after pulling off a trade with the Boston Celtics for Paul George and a significant draft-pick haul. With these moves, a player might see his role get smaller.

Draymond Green sees VJ Edgecombe as the loser in the LeBron James signing​

Everyone has been talking about the league's most potent starting lineup being in Philly. However, there might be an odd man out, and that will most likely be Edgecombe. While he did have an impressive rookie season, his role could get smaller.

Brown, Embiid, James, and Tyrese Maxey are all stars who can average over 25 points per game. Edgecombe can reach that level, but he is not close to that just yet. He might be relegated to being more of an off-ball threat and a defender, but he will most likely make an impact with what he can get.

The two biggest concerns for this new 76ers roster are the distribution of responsibilities and their defense. Edgecombe can step up in his smaller role by being more impactful defensively and making smart decisions when he does not have the ball.

Unfortunately, from an outside perspective, some people are calling Edgecombe the loser of the renewed 76ers roster. Among those critics is Draymond Green.

"If I’m V. J. Edgecombe’s agent, I’m not sure I’m happy with the summer that the 76ers have had... Like you go from being sometimes the second option when Embiid was out to sometimes being the fifth option. It’s a big, big difference," Green said on his podcast about Edgecombe's new role.

It will be challenging for Edgecombe to adjust, but he seems to have the personality to make it work. He is a player hungry for success, and that could pan out well for him if he plays his new role for the 76ers.
