The New England Patriots quarterback, 23, gushed about his wife during a press conference ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl and praised her for how she's handled her increased notoriety.
"She’s got her own little journey that’s been awesome, being herself and that’s the best thing about her and what I love her for," Drake told media of Ann Michael, 22, on Thursday, Jan. 29, adding, "It's been awesome to follow her journey."

Ann Michael's popularity seemingly capitalizes on her sweet personality — and the sweets she makes in her baking videos on TikTok. She launched her show, Beyond Bakemas, where she whips up her best recipes, and shares with her husband's teammates.
Earlier in the season, Ann Michael gave a thumbs up to the comments she receives on her TikTok videos and suggested fans "give them a scroll."
"It's always, 'Tuck our husband into bed tonight,' " she shared of a popular message, one of the many that praise her for relationship with the Patriots quarterback.

The couple, who hail from North Carolina and started dating in high school, are now adapting to life in New England. During his recent press conference, Drake recalled his excitement over his wife's move to the Boston area.
" was looking forward to her getting up here,” he told media. "After we got married, she came up here and had never lived up north," he shared, noting that Ann Michael "had never seen this much snow on the ground" prior to her relocation.
"So obviously it was an adjustment for her,” Drake said, adding, "She’s loved it, she’s loved the people up here, living up here [and] she loves the support."

Ann Michael recently opened up about her baking for the team, and revealed the secret strategy behind her desserts. She explained how the offensive line, in particular, are the ones who she targets with her treats.
"The O-line is, like, the main recipients of my baked goods,” she told NBC Sports Boston in an interview broadcast earlier this month.

The players are appreciative of her culinary creations, too.
“Occasionally, they’ll write me a thank you note," she shared. "It’s so funny, it’s, like, ‘Just keep feeding us. We need to protect your husband, so we need to keep on the extra weight. If you need a bodyguard, we’ll be your bodyguard.’ "
