New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is headed to the 2026 Super Bowl — and his wife, Ann Michael Maye (née Hudson), is sure to be his loudest cheerleader in the stands.
Drake and Ann Michael have known each other since they were in middle school and later attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill together. After being selected by the Patriots in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Drake capped off his rookie season by proposing to Ann Michael.
The NFL star exchanged vows with his high school sweetheart at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in North Carolina on June 21, 2025, per The News & Observer.
"Getting married is one of the best decisions I've made in my life," Drake told reporters in February 2026. "Good things happen when you get married, and I think that's the case so far in my life."
While her husband is doing well on the field, Ann Michael has found notoriety on TikTok, where she shares her crafting projects, gameday outfits and baked-good recipes with more than 500,000 followers.

The couple first met while they were in middle school, according to May 2024 TikTok from Ann Michael. Set to the song "So High School" by Taylor Swift, Ann Michael wrote in the caption, "So middle school*."
The couple attended William A. Hough High School together before he transferred to Myers Park High School.
